Let’s talk about renewable energy and environmental protection

As part of our community program MOCni z natury, one of whose main goals and pillars is education, we have launched and are conducting a series of educational meetings in schools across various regions of Poland. We meet with elementary school students in grades 6–8 to talk about renewable energy sources, discuss, ask questions, and inspire one another to take action to protect the natural environment. We show that it all starts where we live, learn, and spend our free time with family and friends.

Each of our sessions is interactive; we conduct quizzes, perform experiments, and explore new ideas—always in a friendly and supportive atmosphere. We have prepared nice prizes for volunteers who volunteer to answer questions. We approach every lesson with great optimism and full commitment. What motivates us most is the students’ engagement, their willingness to participate in class, their openness in sharing ideas, and their readiness to discuss.

As we share our knowledge about renewable energy, modern technologies, and our expert experience, we also make sure that our classes are filled with smiles, curiosity, and the joy of discovery. That is when education truly comes alive. We must openly admit that time and again, the younger generation surprises us with their knowledge of clean energy and their mature approach to environmental protection. It is heartening to see how consciously they think about the future and how they want future generations to also be able to benefit from and enjoy nature’s bounty. Striving for a sustainable lifestyle and understanding the importance of renewable energy and clean energy are natural processes for the younger generation. That is why we are even more delighted to be able to support them with our knowledge and experience.

Education powered by POWERfrom nature!

Where have we been so far?

  • Bishop Jan Chrapka Public Elementary School in Stare Siekluki

The meeting with students in grades 6–7 took place in a warm, festive atmosphere in December. Together with Caritas Radom, we discussed issues of great importance—ones that will shape our future and the world around us. So, what did we talk about?  We discussed renewable energy, climate change, and environmental protection. Our principal, Kaja Sawicka, led the educational session in a charismatic and inspiring way. There were experiments, hands-on activities, quizzes, and open discussion—these are the elements and most effective methods of education and collaboration with young people.

  • Henryk Sienkiewicz Elementary School No. 2 in Ziębice

The next meeting took place in the Lower Silesian Voivodeship, in Ziębice. Once again, the students surprised us with their extensive knowledge of renewable energy sources and environmental protection efforts, as well as their active participation and engagement in the lesson. It was informative, competitive, and enjoyable, filled with smiles and genuine enthusiasm. We really enjoy these meetings because they allow us to appreciate the opportunity to foster a sense of responsibility for the natural environment, and thus for the daily decisions of the younger generation in support of our planet
