Dialogue as the foundation of investment

The development of green energy in Poland is gaining momentum, and our company, Enerco, is one of the players in this process. For years, we have been investing in the construction of modern wind farms. In our projects, we focus not only on the highest technological standards, but above all on transparent cooperation with local communities and local authorities. This model of operation is implemented, among others, in the Mazowieckie and Podlaskie provinces, where we are preparing the construction of several dozen wind turbines.

Why the borderland between Mazovia and Podlasie?

The areas located at the junction of both provinces have been recognized for years as areas with favorable conditions for wind energy. The vicinity of Ostrołęka, Łomża, Miastkowo, and Kolno is a region with favorable topography, ensuring optimal turbine placement. Stable and sufficiently strong winds, necessary for the effective operation of wind farms, also blow here. Large, less built-up spaces can still be found here, enabling safe and sustainable investment planning.

“We have been conducting talks inthis area for a long time. We are acquiring plots of land for lease from private owners, reviewing and discussing the spatial development plan. We have had a series of meetings with local government officials, mayors, and councilors who see opportunities rather than threats in cooperation. We are discussing the most convenient solutions for residents, but also for the municipalities' businesses. Because they are the main beneficiaries of having wind farms in their area. I would like to emphasize the extremely substantive discussions, the concern for the well-being of residents, and the great openness to innovation that characterize the leaders in this region."
