Educational meeting with students from the school in Stare Siekluki
In December, every meeting takes on a different dimension! This was also the case at the meeting with students in grades VI-VIII at the school in Stare Siekluki.
Together with Caritas Radom, we talked to students about a wide range of issues, but they all had one thing in common: we discussed topics that are important to all of us and that will influence the future of the world we live in.
It turned out that our director, Kaja Sawicka, knows how to talk to very young people about climate and renewable energy. It also turned out that such an educational lesson can be engaging, and the proposed experiences and experiments generate many interesting comments and, above all, are not boring.
Our daily choices, attitudes, and the way we talk about the world determine how the younger generation will approach many issues, including environmental protection.
Let's talk about it in practical terms, let's show solutions instead of creating fear. Let's give examples and focus on actions that are worth taking to protect even our immediate surroundings. This gives a sense of agency and shows that even small steps matter—both in nature conservation and in issues related to helping and volunteering presented by Caritas Radom.
This series of important discussions is part of our mission to provide education and reliable information.
We would like to thank the Bishop Jan Chrapka Primary School in Stare Siekluki for the opportunity to meet, and Caritas Radom for inviting us to participate in joint initiatives.
